Ready to Dive In?

A pink chair with gold legs holding a small pink table. On the table, there are three stacked books and a glass cup of coffee. A gray blanket is draped over the chair, and behind the chair, there are framed pictures leaning against the wall. A bunch of white flowers is underneath the table.

The first step is to click the button below to complete a quick consultation questionnaire. This helps me get a sense of what’s going on for you and whether or not we’d be a good fit. Once you’ve submitted the form, I’ll send over my availability. Heads up — I do tend to have a waitlist.

Prefer a referral instead? No problem—I’ll help you find someone who’s a great fit for you. Either way, we’re making sure you get the support you need!

If we’re both on the same page, we’ll lock in your first session and I’ll send you the link to your personal client portal—aka your therapy HQ.

Before we meet

All the intake documents will be ready for you to fill out via your personalized client portal. This way, no need to show up early to do paperwork, and I can review everything ahead of time. It gives me a head start, so we can dive right into what brought you in and get to the good stuff (aka helping you feel better!).

During your first appointment

Cue the nerves, right? Totally normal. Most people feel a little jittery their first session—hey, even I get nervous when I meet new people. The first session is about getting to know you—your strengths, your struggles, and your goals. We’ll chat for 60 minutes and dive into what’s been going on in your life. After this, sessions will usually last 55-60 minutes. Oh, and I’m all about making you feel comfortable from the start. We’ll go at your pace.

Common questions on getting started

  • It’s helpful to reflect on what you’d like to discuss, but there’s no formal preparation needed. I’ll provide you with some intake forms through your client portal to fill out before we meet, which will give me a better idea of your situation. This will also include an intake questionnaire to complete, plus assessments.

  • Your first session is all about getting to know each other! We’ll talk about your strengths, struggles, and what brought you to therapy. It’s totally normal to feel a bit nervous, and I’ll make sure to create a comfortable atmosphere for you.

  • That’s okay!. Therapy is a personal journey, and not every therapist-client relationship will click. If you feel like it’s not the right fit, we can discuss it, and I can help you find someone who might suit your needs better.
